"SENSITIVE BODY"
WORKSHOP OF DANCE, MOVEMENT AND CHOREOGRAPHIC RESEARCH

-The workshop for children explores body parts, space (directions and levels), rhythm and dynamics through creative and playful games. Starting from a circle and simple guided explorations, children are invited to discover movement in a curious and imaginative way.
Using images, imagination and simple objects, they experiment with different qualities of movement, from small body parts to the whole body, and from light to heavy or slow to fast. Through games such as mirroring, imaginary balls or soap bubbles, animals, children develop a “curious body” while strengthening body awareness, coordination, memory and creativity.

- The workshop for adults is built as a progression of exercises aimed at connecting body, mind, center, and expression, drawing on principles from contemporary dance and ballet. The exercises are integrated into creative combinations using space, levels, rhythm, and different dynamics.
Special attention is given to initiating movement from the center, as well as from the lower and upper body, exploring action and reaction, weight and lightness, strength and release. Release work is integrated with isolations and oppositions to develop the technical and expressive potential of the body, always in a playful and engaging way.
These elements are introduced from the first exercises through to the choreographic phrase or final composition, where technique and emotional intention come together. The aim of the class is to strengthen technique while supporting creativity, memory, and personal expression. Improvisation sessions are included to help dancers integrate the principles more deeply and develop greater self-awareness.
